Environmental Issues

Here you can learn about our environmental Issues or report one yourself

General

Parishioners should be aware that all District Councils can now access owner information from the DVLA to trace environmental crimes.

These crimes include dog owners who allow offences, littering, graffiti, damage to trees, and so on.

Dogs

Not clearing up after your dog is a criminal offence. East Suffolk District Council has a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) in place to enforce this throughout the whole of East Suffolk. Parish Councils can put their own PSPOs in place should they wish to. There is a form for reporting dog owners who don’t clean up after their dogs and you can access it by clicking on this LINK. You can print it and once completed please email the form to environment@eastsuffolk.gov.uk.

 Littering

The fixed penalty notice for littering from a car is £80, reduced to £60 if paid within 10 days. The call centre number to report all environmental crimes is 0333 0162000. You can also report fly-tipping using the East Suffolk District Council guide and on-line form by clicking on this Littering link.
