Cricket Club

Nacton Cricket Club was founded in 1787 and, based in Nacton Village, offers cricket to all players of 15 years and upwards regardless of ability. There are two teams, the Saturday Team playing in Division  Five of the "Two Counties" League and the Sunday Team playing in Section B of the "Suffolk Cricket Alliance" League.

The club is  always looking to recruit new members to help it  continue the  great tradition of competitive cricket within the confines of a friendly village cricket club. If you like cricket (and a few beers afterwards!) take a look at the club's website - click on www.nactoncc.org.uk

Flower & Vegetable Show

The Nacton Flower and Vegetable Show was in the need of help as new  life   was needed on the committee. Since there was no response to the appeal the organisation has now been wound down and there will be no further shows.  The balance money held was donated to the Village Hall and the winners shield is on display in the hall.
